AGRO platform is designed to enable direct participation of local farmers and citizens in the territorial planning of the Pokrovsk amalgamated community (hromada), a self-governing unit in the Eastern Ukraine. Pokrovsk hromada unites 30 villages and over 17,000 people, most of them are engaged in agricultural production. By giving access to registered members of the community to enter and edit their farming data, the proposed AGRO platform will create an up-to-date and easy-to-understand agricultural profile of the Pokrovsk hromada area.
By launching the AGRO platform, the activists of Pokrovsk hromada will improve the cooperation between local farmers, promote local producers and support the development of the agricultural eco-system.
